Sewer And Water Authority Vacancy
VACANCY– 1 (one) 4 year term
The Evans City Water and Sewer Authority currently has one (1)- 4 year term available to any property owner, resident, or business owner in the Evans city Borough.The Authority meets the last Wednesday of each month.The Authority currently assists the Evans City Borough Council manage the operation of the Water and Sewer Plants and its infrastructure projects within and outside the Borough. The Authority recommends to Evans City Borough Council future projects, ordinances, budgetary items …. Council has the final vote on all actions recommended by the Authority.The Authority is currently in negotiations with the Evans City Borough to buy and take control of all assets and operations involving the Water and Sewer Plant.If you meet the requirements listed and are interested in becoming a member of the Authority you can pick up a questionnaire at the Borough off. The Authority will review the questionnaires, conduct interviews and recommendations will be forwarded to Borough Council for appointment.The questionnaire should be returned to the Borough office no later than February 19, 2010.
2010 Street Sweeping Schedule Set
Please note the following dates for the 2010 street sweeping in Evans City.. We will start on April 12 and sweep every other Monday for 12 weeks up to September 27. Please note the first week of July will be done on a Tuesday following 4th of July holiday. Sweeping will be on following dates: April 12, April 26, May 10, May 24, June 7, June 21, July 6, July 19, August 2, August 16, August 30, September 13, and September 27.
